[BookShot]: Laws of Simplicty



Just finished reading “Laws of Simplicity” by John Maeda. I think this little tome is a must read for anyone who works with design or visualization – even remotely. If the closest you come to visualization is putting bar graphs on a Powerpoint slide, and are still using the ugly template someone made in the 90’s – read this book! You will do yourself and others whom you torture with your visual disasters a big favor. (And no there are no Powerpoint tricks in it, its all about simplicity). If you aren’t the reading type, then the BookShot above (this is my term for a snapshot of the book) should get you excited enough to invest time 🙂
